Determine The Best Ceiling Fan Size

Ceiling heights are more or less standard now and most modern constructions especially for individual homes are likely to feature ceilings at 10 feet distance from the floor.

Standard ceiling fans include a downrod ranging in length from 2 inches to 10 inches which is suitable for standard size rooms with a ceiling height of eight to nine feet. Conversely spaces in the home with limited ceiling to floor height think bedrooms offices breakfast nooks etc require a low profile or flushmount ceiling fan.
