However when we arrived at ellison bluff the sun was out with clear blue skies and we drove the gravel path back to the parking area through the woods and took the small walk over to the scenic overlook and wow this park is off the beaten path but so worth it as it gives great views of the lake and sunset with an overhang that makes your stomach drop a bit.
